The people who believe unlimited possession of guns is needed in order to protect their freedom from Democrats, godless libs, the deep state and the government will never agree to meaningful gun control. Never.

These people believe and have stated they believe that the deaths of school children and teachers at the hands of terrorists and mentally ill people is the price we must pay to safeguard our freedom. They have no interest in implementing even the impractical and ineffective measures they propose because that would require increased taxation. (How else will they pay for all those guns for the teachers and the training they will need?) It's disgusting. I fear we're going to have to go to real war with these people to put an end to this idiocy.
