Why the shame culture especially at large Christian institutions? I think it comes down to money more than anything else. Should pastors and administrators be paid annual salaries of hundreds of thousands of dollars, live in mansions, own hundreds or thousands of acres of land, and fly in private planes? There's so much money at stake that they can't afford to reveal the sand underneath the castles.
